Thank goodness it's Friday! And I do mean thank goodness! It's been quite a week adjusting to the new job. The department performs two functions, and I'm pinch-hitting for one of them until I'm formally trained for the other. My supervisors are waiting for more newbies before starting the training. I don't mind where I'm at now, except that I don't talk to anyone except for individuals on the phone. I see my co-workers only in passing. I'm okay with it, though, because it's only temporary, and I'm still adjusting. Imagine, at my old job, I interacted with a lot of clients. Now, I'm confined to a cubicle that's not even mine, staring at pictures of people and dogs that I don't know.
