Tonight, we went to see Jake Shimabukuro perform live. I believe the first time we saw him play was in 2005 at an International Guitar Festival where he was, obviously, the only non-guitar player in the group. Ever since then, we've attended his concerts annually.
I've enjoyed watching him evolve from his younger days with the group Pure Heart to the internationally-renowned ukulele virtuoso he is known to be today. He has quite the following here in the Bay Area.
